Basic information and contact details for the University of Eastern Pangasinan
University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP) was founded in 2005 through a public-private partnership led by the then Mayor and now Governor Ramon “Monmon” Guico III. UEP became the first university in Binalonan and one of the few in the region born from local government initiative.
The university is located in Barangay Canarvacanan, at the heart of Binalonan, a municipality in the coastal province of Pangasinan in the Philippines, known for its agricultural heritage and palengke culture and lifestyle.
UEP’s modern main tower, inaugurated in 2012, accommodates up to 3,000 students and houses academic departments including criminology, hospitality and management, business administration, elementary and secondary education, midwifery, and information technology, alongside administrative offices, a library, and fully-equipped labs.
The university offers a wide range of degree programmes including diplomas in midwifery.
The university also plays an active role in the local community, hosting skills-training seminars, cultural events, and livelihood programmes that connect students with residents of Binalonan and neighbouring towns.
