About the role

The HEON Graduate Outreach Assistant will contribute to the design and delivery of HEON’s wide-ranging outreach programmes. The post will support the collection, organisation and tracking of data to support the monitoring and evaluation of the programme. The post will also support with social media and certain administrative tasks.

We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for social mobility and inspiring young people.

You should work well in a team and will be familiar with working autonomously and as part of a wider team; interacting flexibly with colleagues both internally and externally. Training will be in place to support you and help you develop in the role.��

Based primarily in the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building on North Terrace, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to high-quality teaching, guide curriculum development, and help strengthen student learning and engagement in First Nations Peoples’ health.

The successful candidate will be passionate about student learning and improving health outcomes for First Nations Communities. The successful candidate will work with Program Directors, Academic Leads and course coordinators to enable the delivery of a high-quality First Nations Peoples’ health curriculum, while also contributing to the continued professional development of academic and clinical teaching staff in culturally safe practice.

Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, as the successful candidate you will provide direct clinical supervision to students in the BDS and/or BOH programs and help expand opportunities for student engagement with Aboriginal communities across South Australia. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced veterinary surgeon (MRCVS) with a passion for inspiring undergraduate students in veterinary medicine. We have a part-time role (0.4 FTE) available for an equine vet. Experienced clinicians who wish to move into education and develop their teaching expertise within a multidisciplinary department are encouraged to apply.

The primary focus of this role will be to support the��clinical teaching��in years three and four, preparing our students for their final year rotations. The role involves practical teaching, lectures and tutorials and there will be a requirement to travel to our offsite partners on occasion.
