Pan-Atlantic University was originally founded as Lagos Business School in 1991 before being approved by the federal government as an independent university in 2002. It is located in Lagos, Nigeria’s capital. 
The university offers a comprehensive range of programmes at bachelor, master's and doctoral level. Its undergraduate courses are delivered by three schools: the School of Media and Communication, the School of Management and Social Sciences, and the School of Science and Technology.
At master's level the same three schools offer degrees, with the addition of the Lagos Business School. The School offers an international exchange programme, and for its district industry-orientated curriculum and links that lead to students gaining invaluable skillsets and jobs post-studies.
Doctoral degree options are limited to the Schools of Media and Communication and the School of Management and Social Sciences, with PhD’s in management and media available. 
There are various clubs, societies, and cultural events on offer for students to get involved in. 
The university has on-campus accommodation. It also has various recreational facilities such as sports centres, and holds a university-wide Coupe de Escriva sports tournament every year, made up of several teams.

Based in the Assisted Living and Learning (ALL) Institute at Maynooth University, this role will provide a point of contact for PPI at Maynooth University as part of a network of stakeholders including external partners, the Research Development Office, and University research institutes.

Salary:

Salary Scale: €47,387 – €49,954 p.a. (2 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.

The Astrophotonics Program brings together researchers from astronomy, physics and engineering to design, build and test advanced photonic technologies with applications in radio astronomy, optical astronomy, space science, quantum technologies and national security. The group is internationally recognised for its expertise in the long-distance transfer of stabilised photonic timing and communication signals over optical fibre and free-space laser links.

	Leading internationally recognised research programs and delivering high-impact research outcomes.

About you 


	A PhD in physics, astronomy, engineering or another relevant discipline, with an internationally recognised research profile and an outstanding publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals.
	Proven success in attracting competitive research funding and developing sustainable research collaborations across academia, government and industry.
	Significant experience leading research teams and supervising higher degree research (HDR) students and early-career researchers to successful outcomes.
	Expertise in several of the following areas: radio astronomy instrumentation, free-space optical laser communications (terrestrial and/or space applications), and quantum technologies.
	Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated commitment to inclusion, diversity, collaboration and research excellence.

The School of Dentistry is seeking an outstanding educator and clinician to join our academic team in a role focused on First Nations Peoples’ health and culturally safe practice. Based primarily in the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building on North Terrace, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to high-quality teaching, guide curriculum development, and help strengthen student learning and engagement in First Nations Peoples’ health.

The successful candidate will be passionate about student learning and improving health outcomes for First Nations Communities. The successful candidate will work with Program Directors, Academic Leads and course coordinators to enable the delivery of a high-quality First Nations Peoples’ health curriculum, while also contributing to the continued professional development of academic and clinical teaching staff in culturally safe practice.

Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, as the successful candidate you will provide direct clinical supervision to students in the BDS and/or BOH programs and help expand opportunities for student engagement with Aboriginal communities across South Australia. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the Indigenous Oral Health Unit and other research groups within the School, contributing to the School’s broader teaching, research and community engagement activities.

About the role

The HEON Graduate Outreach Assistant will contribute to the design and delivery of HEON’s wide-ranging outreach programmes. The post will support the collection, organisation and tracking of data to support the monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
