Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology is a state university located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It evolved from the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, established in 1962, and was upgraded to university status in 2013 under the Uttar Pradesh Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Act to address the demand for technical education in the state.
The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, technology, pharmacy, computer applications, management, and sciences.
Undergraduate admissions in engineering are based on JEE-Main, while postgraduate engineering courses accept GATE scores. Admissions for other postgraduate courses follow the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test. Reservation rules are applied according to state regulations.
The campus spans 354 acres and provides modern facilities for teaching, research, and student life.
