Major duties include, but are not limited to: Development of AICU Biobank Assisting in the daily operations of clinical trials (e.g. patient recruitment, follow-up, and submission of IRB applications); Managing databases and conducting literature reviews; Collecting and analysing data under supervision; and Providing administrative and dissemination support for research projects. Requirements Applicants should possess: A PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, Nursing, or related disciplines; or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of biomedical research or clinical experience; Proven track record in conducting high-quality biological research. Demonstrated history of writing reports and scientific articles based on research results. A strong work ethic, with self-motivation and good organisational skills; The ability to multitask effectively and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Candidates with a postgraduate research degree and/or prior exposure to clinical work in a hospital setting will also be preferred. Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will support the research and implementation of a large-scale mental health and well-being project for primary schools in Hong Kong under the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. Major tasks include: Assisting in the design and development of research studies and evaluation frameworks. Supporting the implementation of research activities and programme evaluation. Collecting and analysing data under supervision. Preparing technical research reports. Coordinating research interns. Performing administrative tasks in support of the research-cum-intervention project. Any other duties as assigned.  Requirements The appointment (Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant) will be offered based on the qualifications and experience of the appointee: For the Post-doctoral Fellow post, applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or an equivalent qualification in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline. The position is primarily focussed on the delivery of courses within the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate nursing or midwifery programs. You will work with guidance and direction from course coordinators. The role of tutor utilises contemporary professional/discipline-related knowledge in their teaching practice and carries out activities to develop scholarly expertise. Core Responsibilities: Under direction conduct learning activities including lectures, tutorials, assessment and provide timely feedback to students. Use a variety of pedagogical techniques (including face-to-face, online and blended learning) to foster student learning. Undertake high quality teaching as part of the teaching team, including participation in moderation of marking exercises. Incorporate contemporary professional/discipline-based knowledge in teaching activities Act as a student advisor by responding promptly to queries and directing students to appropriate supports/services. Undertake administrative functions connected to courses taught. Actively participate in meetings and committees at the discipline, program and Academic Unit level. Experience Required:  Relevant and recent clinical experience. High level written and oral communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, combined with cultural sensitivity. Demonstrated ability to actively engage and educate a student group. Be capable of using the necessary digital technologies required for effective curriculum delivery. High level administrative and organisational skills. Eligibility Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery and relevant postgraduate qualification in a nursing or midwifery specialisation together with current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia including a current practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
