This is a senior professional services leadership role, where you will drive high-quality, efficient, and compliant services that support students and academic delivery across our diverse portfolio. Field: Photonics, Advanced Materials, Optical Detection Systems Experimental Responsibilities: Lead experiments to characterize and study the properties of new photonics materials. Develop complex optical systems for detecting and controlling optical phenomena, including photonics devices. Supervise students in hands-on experimental research, including developing innovative optical systems. Teaching  Responsibilities: Introduction to Photonics: Principles of light, electromagnetic waves, and basic photonic materials. Advanced Photonics and Materials: Study of photonic materials, optical properties, and their applications in photonics devices. Photonics Lab: Hands-on experience in optical systems design, characterization of photonic materials, and experiments on light-matter interactions. Optical Instrumentation: Practical courses on designing and testing optical sensors and detection systems. Requirements: PhD in Photonics, Optical Physics, or a related field. Expertise in optical detection systems and experience in experimental photonics. Familiarity with advanced material characterization techniques in photonics and optical measurement systems. Teaching Skills: Ability to teach at various levels (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral) and use modern pedagogical methods. Research Skills: Ability to conduct high-impact and independent research and contribute to collaborative projects. Communication Skills: Excellent skills in communicating research findings to diverse audiences, writing scientific papers, and presenting at conferences. This is an opportunity to not only work through a defined piece of work (technology uplift of our TechnologyOne Student Management System) but also a great opportunity to gain experience within ����Vlog. You will be: Leading and conducting business analysis and documentation activities including process modelling, data and configuration analysis. Managing and prioritising requirements. Communication, including managing conflicts, issues and changes and ensuring that stakeholders and the project team remain in aligned on the solution scope. Undertaking a wide range of service transition activities, including transition planning and support, change management, release and deployment management, service validation and testing, user training and support, evaluation and knowledge management. About You A dynamic, self-starter, you possess the high-level strategic thinking, planning and analytical skills to deliver project outcomes and meet the University's strategic goals. Your broad experience in agile ways of working, (including exposure to scaled agile methodologies and/or collaborating and delivering through a matrix structure), have equipped you with the exceptional interpersonal influence and the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with stakeholders across a diverse organisation particularly during the design, management and implementation of customer solutions. It is expected that the successful candidate hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant technical area, and / or equivalent relevant experience in an IT environment, along with relevant and current industry training and certifications in business analysis and enterprise agile methodologies. Experience working with Student Management Systems or ERP systems, especially with TSCI or other compliance reporting would be beneficial.
