Position Overview: Domains: Satellite Propulsion, CubeSat Technologies, Experimental Fluid Mechanics Profile: The successful candidate will lead experimental research on propulsion systems for small satellites, with emphasis on chemical, electric, and green micro-propulsion systems. They will also teach propulsion theory and lab-based courses, and contribute to CubeSat mission development. Ref.: 536653 Work type: Full-time Department: Department of Mathematics (25500) Categories: Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics (Ref.: 536653) Applications are invited for the appointment of a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics, to commence as soon as possible. The post is for at least one year, and renewable for subsequent years, up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or Statistics. Preference will be given to those whose research interests focus on Probability Theory, in particular Random Geometry. Successful applicants are expected to work in the research group of Prof. Wei Qian (https://qian.perso.math.cnrs.fr/), and to participate in the usual activities (such as seminars, colloquiums and workshops) of the probability group in the department.
