Your personal sphere of play: For the team of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sabine Kirchmayr-Schliesselberger, a University Assistant (postdoc) position is to be filled as of September 2026 to support teaching and research in the field of tax law, with a focus on transaction taxes and indirect taxes.The employment duration is 3 years and 2 months.  Your future tasks: Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means: You build and continuously develop an independent research profile. You participate in research projects. You author your own publications and present your work in academic lectures and conferences. You apply for projects and acquire third-party funding. Preparation/completion of a (publication-ready) habilitation thesis. You independently teach courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement. You supervise students. You participate in evaluation measures and contribute to quality assurance. You contribute to research, teaching, and departmental administration. You will be: Leading and conducting business analysis and documentation activities including process modelling, data and configuration analysis. Managing and prioritising requirements. Undertaking a wide range of service transition activities, including transition planning and support, change management, release and deployment management, service validation and testing, user training and support, evaluation and knowledge management. About You A dynamic, self-starter, you possess the high-level strategic thinking, planning and analytical skills to deliver project outcomes and meet the University's strategic goals. Your broad experience in agile ways of working, (including exposure to scaled agile methodologies and/or collaborating and delivering through a matrix structure), have equipped you with the exceptional interpersonal influence and the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with stakeholders across a diverse organisation particularly during the design, management and implementation of customer solutions. It is expected that the successful candidate hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant technical area, and / or equivalent relevant experience in an IT environment, along with relevant and current industry training and certifications in business analysis and enterprise agile methodologies. Experience working with Student Management Systems or ERP systems, especially with TSCI or other compliance reporting would be beneficial.
