Position Overview: Domains: Satellite Propulsion, CubeSat Technologies, Experimental Fluid Mechanics Profile: The successful candidate will lead experimental research on propulsion systems for small satellites, with emphasis on chemical, electric, and green micro-propulsion systems. They will also teach propulsion theory and lab-based courses, and contribute to CubeSat mission development. The post is for at least one year, and renewable for subsequent years, up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or Statistics. Preference will be given to those whose research interests focus on Probability Theory, in particular Random Geometry. Successful applicants are expected to work in the research group of Prof. Wei Qian (https://qian.perso.math.cnrs.fr/), and to participate in the usual activities (such as seminars, colloquiums and workshops) of the probability group in the department. As a member-based organisation within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, CVE's primary role is in the service of lifelong building on DVM-education and empowering veterinary personnel at all stages of their career to improve confidence, competence, wellbeing and welfare. As the Education Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering a diverse portfolio of educational events including conferences, practical workshops, and professional development programs for veterinary personnel across Australia and internationally. Working closely with colleagues across the University as well as external specialist presenters, industry partners and suppliers, you will help deliver educational events that support veterinary personnel to build confidence, strengthen clinical decision-making and improve outcomes in practice.
