China University of Political Science and Law was established in 1952 in Beijing, the capital of China. 
The university is focused on both researching and teaching law, politics, economics, management, sociology, history, and philosophy. It’s one of the most selective universities to get into in China.
The university has two campuses; the original campus in Haidian District, which is where postgraduate students study, and the Changping campus for undergraduate students. In total there are 18 colleges and faculties, including the law school, and between them they offer 26 undergraduate programmes, 38 doctoral programmes, 78 academic master degree programmes, eight professional master degree programmes and four postdoctoral research programmes.
The university created the first chance to study Chinese law in Beijing with an American Bar Association-approved programme, first inaugurated in 1995 by the Duquesne University School of Law.

Applicants must demonstrate research excellence in the field of international arbitration, a credible teaching and presentation track of international arbitration and commercial laws, and the ability to take a leading role in the development of the School's training programs, research and teaching, and to fully engage in the services, citizenship and values of the University.

	Exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Midwife to support the conduct of clinical research activities in the Heat and Health Research Centre

About the opportunity

The Clinical Research Midwife supports the clinical trial process, from planning to execution, ensuring a seamless transition through all stages.  The midwife will support the HEaT inform study being conducted in the climate chamber at The University of Sydney and investigating pregnant women's physiological responses to different temperature conditions. They handle data capture, verification, and overall adherence to standards while fostering relationships with research staff and stakeholders. They ensure Good Clinical Practice and that every aspect of the trial meets the highest ethical and scientific standards.  Provide clinical care within scope of registration and professional practice, where required as part of the study protocol, including responding to medical events or emergencies during study activities.

Reporting to Professor Adrienne Gordon, your key responsibilities will be to:


	support the end-to-end clinical trial process, assisting with the planning, initiation, and execution of trials, and ensuring smooth operations
	provide clinical care within scope of registration and professional practice, as required under the study protocol
	capture data and verification for clinical trials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations, in accordance with ethics guidelines and workplace health and safety regulations, preparing materials for committee submissions
	build productive relationships with research staff, trial sponsors, and external vendors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
	uphold the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in all clinical trials, ensuring that ethical and scientific quality standards are met in design, conduct, recording, and reporting
	support stakeholder communications, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and timely while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within the work area and beyond
	facilitate timely report submission, uphold data integrity according to university systems, and partner with managers to advance compliance initiatives
	use critical thinking and problem solving to analyse midwifery practice to provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality support to research trial participants. Respond effectively to emergency situations and the change status of patients as required
	champion a proactive approach to health and safety, review and provide feedback on work area protocols, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent safety standards across tasks and projects.


About you

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Research Midwife, who possesses:


	tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in midwifery practice
	current Registered Midwife with APHRA with post graduate midwifery experience.
	previous experience in research with a focus on management of clinical studies/trials
	demonstrated commitment to professional development
	an understanding of issues related to adverse obstetric outcomes: particularly in relation to fetal growth restriction, pre-eclampsia, preterm delivery and stillbirth
	experience with antenatal patient interaction
	demonstrated understanding and experience in complying with Good Clinical Practice, regulatory, ethical, privacy and other relevant guidelines.
	demonstrated experience working across multidisciplinary teams and ability to build effective relations with colleagues and stakeholders
	excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes
	possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day to day operational matters
	experience using RedCap software for data capture
	understanding of research ethics and relevant aspects of Work Health and Safety Policy.

Job Description:

The Sustainable Materials Research Center (SusMaT-RC) at the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) invites applications for two Post-Doctoral Fellow positions to work on a collaborative project with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Professor Youssef Habibi. The project focuses on developing multifunctional bio-sourced hydrogels for agricultural applications. The research aims to convert locally abundant biomass into high-added-value components, incorporating them with fertilizers and/or bio-based additives through sustainable pathways. The successful candidate will conduct rigorous testing to ensure system performance, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and travel to the United States for short-term work assignments.

Position Requirements:


	Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science and Engineering, or related areas.
	Hands-on experience in hydrogel formulation, (bio)polymer processing, and the development of porous materials (design, fabrication, and characterization).
	Proficiency in analytical, spectroscopic, and microscopic techniques.
	Proven experience in supervising students (undergraduate, master's, and doctoral).
	Ability to maintain detailed experimental records and draft technical reports, research papers, and conference presentations.
	Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary research group.


Criteria of the candidate:


	PhD in the subject discipline with a relevant experience as a postdoctoral researcher.
	Proven ability to perform multidisciplinary research and contribute to funded research programs, including writing proposals and seeking external funding.
	Excellent organizational skills, time management, and task prioritization.
	Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
	Strong focus on achieving quality outputs.
