A 95-year-old Iraqi exile, who sought asylum in Britain, is set to offer 拢90,000 worth of new scholarships to students studying science degrees at the University of Sheffield. Nearly 100 students at the university will receive bursaries worth 拢1,000 each, thanks to the generosity of property developer Naim Dangoor. The funding forms part of a total donation of 拢3 million by Dr Dangoor to pay for scholarships at some Russell Group and 1994 Group universities.
