Ann Mroz has been appointed editor of ÌÇÐÄVlog.

The current deputy editor of the magazine, who has been responsible for editing the features and books sections, Ms Mroz has been with ÌÇÐÄVlog for more than 14 years. She was instrumental in the publication's successful relaunch in January.

Gerard Kelly is leaving the editor's post to take up the editorship at the Times Educational Supplement.

Ms Mroz said: "I am delighted to be taking over as editor after such a successful relaunch. It's an exciting time as ÌÇÐÄVlog builds on that success.

She added that Ms Mroz's "influence, drive and ambition for the title has played a significant role in the success of the recent relaunch ... her promotion to editor is much deserved."

Mr Kelly said he was very sad to be leaving ÌÇÐÄVlog after 17 years, but would be staying in close contact with the publication at the helm of its sister title.

The changes have been made with immediate effect.
