A conference on process automation and control for the efficient management of production cycles will take place at the Milan Fair in Italy on 14 and 15 September.

The event will address:
- instrumentation and metrology;
- process control and optimisation;
- safety and the environment;
- production planning and management.

Today, efficient production in terms of both compliance with environmental regulations and optimal management of energy and material resources is viewed as key to maintaining a competitive position in the global market. This can be attained by improving the efficiency and integration of production cycles.
