Dr Pegg, a former director of Ashridge Business School, took over the role in January last year from the organisation鈥檚 founding chief executive Ewart Wooldridge.
Sir Andrew Cubie, chair of the Leadership Foundation, said its governing board thanked Dr Pegg for 鈥渉is valuable work鈥 over the past 18 months.聽
鈥淒uring this time, he has successfully led the transformation of the Top Management Programme, introduced the Aurora project for women leaders, championed the development of strong relationships with the Leadership Foundation鈥檚 150 members and maintained the organisation in good health financially,鈥 he said.
Dr Pegg said it had been 鈥渁 real privilege for me to work with such an excellent team of people during a period of rebuilding鈥.聽
鈥淚 asked them to do a great deal in a short space of time and they always responded creatively and responsively, contributing their own thinking to meet our customers鈥 needs to the highest standards. I am certain the Leadership Foundation is in great shape for the future,鈥 he said.
A spokeswoman for the Leadership Foundation, which was set up 10 years ago by Universities UK and GuildHE to improve management and leadership skills in the sector, said it would be recruiting a new chief executive 鈥渋n due course鈥.
