Liverpool John Moores University - Merseyside makeover

A planned 拢37.6 million university building has been welcomed as an addition to Liverpool that will make the city "a more attractive place". Liverpool John Moores University has been granted planning permission for a six-storey building on its Clarence Street site, which will house the faculty of business and law, the Screen School and a new Professional Centre, as well as three large lecture theatres. Michael Brown, vice-chancellor, said the decision to build it is part of the university's mission to "advance the renewal and regeneration of Liverpool by driving up its competitiveness and making the city a more attractive place".
