Communicating and evaluating cyber risk and dependencies (CEDRICS)
This project will carry out work in communicating and evaluating cyber risk to industrial control systems. It will assist in understanding and mitigating vulnerabilities from hackers or malware infiltrating the UK鈥檚 critical national infrastructure systems such as public health, transport and energy systems. The project will address two issues: understanding and communicating cyber risks, and evaluating defence in depth and impact on dependencies. 鈥淭he research will produce a methodology supported with modelling software that can be deployed in the risk assessment of critical infrastructures,鈥 said Robin Bloomfield.
