The European Commission has selected 29 multimediaresearch projects for funding under its INFO2000 programme. The projects, worth a total of 10.7 million Ecus (Pounds 7 million) cover four sectors: economic exploitation of Europe's cultural heritage, business service for firms, geographic information and scientific,technical and medical information.
