Research grants are being sought to develop important tools for DYT1 dystonia research; these include cell culture models; genetic animal models of DYT1 dystonia, including transgenic and knock-in/knock-out mice, Drosophila, C. elegans, and Zebrafish models.

Funding for research grants will be $40,000 for one-year pilot studies, and up to $75,000 per year for up to 2 years for other research grants.
