The University of Brighton鈥檚 former head of income and payments has been convicted of聽fraud after embezzling 拢2.4聽million from the institution over 30聽years.

David Hall, 64, used his position to聽make fraudulent entries in聽the university鈥檚 accounts to聽cover up his deception.

His crimes were discovered by the university only in November 2021, at which point the matter was referred to Sussex Police.
