Blunkett ban on braille

David Blunkett, Secretary of State for Education and Employment, has appealed for people to write to him in normal print, rather than sending tapes or braille. He told his first press conference that while he appreciated the thought, the effect of braille letters was to increase his workload, forcing him rather than an official to do the first reading.
