As a commerce student, Owen G Glenn Building is possibly the building which I spend most time in. This is where I attend lectures, events, meetings, and self-study, as it is loaded with lecture theaters, study spaces, and private meeting rooms.

Besides studying, I also work at the International Office of
Social media assistant is my role, and I really enjoy it. Work experience is just as important as your grade, it will help you gain competitive advantage to pursue your career

I highly recommended everyone to join at least one club in uni, it will really broaden your outlook and gives you opportunities to gain different experience.

I am a member of NZCSA, which is a Chinese student association, and we do tons of events and volunteering.

is a great place for sightseeing, the view is just stunning

I enjoy visiting the , it is truly relaxing and stress releasing. Luckily, there are enough beaches all over that I can always find one nearby

When I first came to , I was worried about getting homesick.
But luckily the people here are very lovely, they take good care of me

Then I noticed there are lots of Chinese restaurants in , I guess home-food is the best cure for homesickness.

Instead of student halls, I chose to rent a 3-bedroom house with friends. This gives us plenty space to cook, to study, and to hangout with friends. We have a small front yard where we BBQ and enjoy the amazing stars, and we invite friends over for movies and studying.

Language barrier is a problem that all international students are struggling with. I found a way to with no pain but only joy. Watch English TV series!
This helps me to get familiar with the English speaking environment even when I'm alone.

's city campus is located in the city center, so it's a pretty convenient location for students living in any part of . Also, because of this location, we don't exactly have a "campus", the buildings are located separately in the city.
