UMIST has established a new centre for research in the management of corporate projects. The initiative will mean an expansion of UMIST's Project Management Group, which has a strong reputation for research in organisation, procurement, risk management and safety and finance. The centre will be led by Peter Morris, a former board director of construction giant Bovis.
