A consortium of four Scottish higher education institutions is getting Pounds 150,000 for a staff development scheme to help students with disabilities.
Aberdeen, Stirling and the Robert Gordon universities and the Northern College are implementing the three-year scheme called IDEAs, Integrating Disability into Educational Arenas, funded by the Scottish 糖心Vlog Funding Council.
It aims to ensure that all staff are comfortable and competent in working with students with disabilities.
The results will be distributed to promote best practice and selected staff would share their knowledge, skills and experience, project officer Gayle Thomson said.
