The Commons Science and Technology Select Committee appears to be fed up with getting long, unoriginal evidence - not to mention its ire that those submitting evidence steal the media spotlight by publishing evidence well before the committee releases its report.
The press note for its inquiry into hybrid and chimera embryos asks that all submissions are as brief as possible, are original and, once submitted, the committee's permission should be sought to publish elsewhere.
