The seed grant programme is designed to assist young investigators in gaining experience testing hypotheses and defining objectives before they apply for major grants from corporations, foundations, or government agencies.

Any area of radiology-related research is eligible including basic, clinical, developmental, and health care planning, delivery and evaluation. Funding is for new pilot projects, not to support portions of large, previously funded work.
