The Commission has given prior information of a future call for tenders to provide a service contract aimed at identifying key issues in basic research.

The contract is aimed at providing a service, in particular through web-based publishing methods, to assist in identifying key emerging basic and interdisciplinary research areas, and promoting the development of the research community in Europe around these areas.

It will involve continuously identifying, via research literature and other means, relevant developments and associated actors; reviewing, analysing, disseminating latest findings; and exploring implications for economy, society and policy.

The total estimated budget for the contract is 565,000 euro
