An international walnut symposium will take place in Naples, Italy, from 7 to 9 November.

The event will address the biological aspects, propagation and plant defences of the walnut plant. Scientific discussions will take place in different groups, and will cover the many uses of the walnut plant: its fruit, wood and other products.

The scientific sections aim to create a connection between the scientific, technical and user communities. Both basic and applied research will be presented.
