The INTERACT programme, developed in order to support the Commission's INTERREG 3 programme, has published its second call for proposals - for projects under priority 2 and priority 3 of measure 2 of the programme.

INTERREG 3 is composed of three strands, which include regional development and cross border cooperation in, among other areas, research, the information society and support for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

Priority 2 of the Programme is aimed at developing local and regional initiatives that will contribute to the development of the institutions involved in the INTERREG programme.

Priority 3 Measure 2 of the Programme is aimed at developing projects that will contribute to the development of joint cooperation tools and mechanisms at the external border.
