Located in Gaziantep, Turkey, Sanko University was founded by the Sani Konuko?lu Foundation in 1989 and became an independent university in 2013. It is a key regional institution with a focus on health sciences and medical education.
The university comprises the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, an Institute of Graduate Education, and a Vocational School of Health Services. Its academic programmes are closely integrated with practical experience through the university’s own private hospital, the Sani Konuko?lu Practice and Research Hospital, which supports clinical training and medical research.
Sanko University offers a range of social, cultural and sporting activities via centres such as the Sanko University Culture House and the Abdulkadir Konuko?lu Sports and Culture Center, which are part of the private SANKO Schools.
