Admiralty University of Nigeria was founded by the Nigerian Navy through Navy Holdings Limited, with operations beginning in the late 2010s. The main campus is located on the Ibusa–Ogwashi-Uku Expressway in Delta State, about 20 kilometres from Asaba, with a second campus in Sapele, also in Delta State.

The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes emphasising skills acquisition, industry readiness and information technology. 

Admiralty University has two fully developed campuses with digital resources, modern infrastructure, libraries and student support services. The institution maintains close ties with the Nigerian Navy and defence industries, providing advantages for students interested in maritime, security and engineering careers.
