The latest issue of Press & Publication News from the Committee of Vice Chancellors and Principals apologises profusely for a wrong attribution in a previous report based on a newspaper article.
The mistake did not appear in the original article, it explains, and goes on to remind readers that reports in P&P News are intended to be an accurate reflection of what appears in the press, and no more. "We will report the errors of journalists faithfully, and will not publish corrections of mistakes other than our own."
