OFSTED schools inspectorate has condemned as "poor" a school-based teacher training scheme in Essex. The Coastal Confederation secondary initial teacher training partnership, based at Colne Community School, was deemed "adequate" in only one of six categories - the quality of its admissions and selection procedures.
